Olive Leaf Beginnings
Olive Leaf Beginnings is an organization with a mission to usher men and women into a new level of faith, glory, and hope. Bishop Naomi Davis has a vision of ministry that supports and encourages individuals to expand and grow. In the book of Genesis 8:11 (NKJV) the lesson reads, “then the dove came to him (Noah) in the evening, and behold, a freshly plucked olive leaf was in her mouth; and Noah knew that the waters had receded from the earth.” Noah released the dove to ‘test the water’, to see if it was safe to leave the ark after the flood. The dove was sent out several times until finally it returned with an olive leaf in its mouth. Noah knew that the flooding was over and it was a safe to leave the ark; a time of new beginnings. The dove represents courage to step away from the known to observe the unknown. The dove gives us an example of stretching outside of our comfort zone then returning to share our experiences with those who were unable to experience what we did. When the dove returned with the olive leaf in its mouth it was a sign that it was a new day. Come, join us, and experience a new beginning.
Berean Meeting Place
We experience this ‘new journey’ through our Berean Meeting Place small groups: Berean Study Group and Berean Women. The purpose of the Berean Meeting Place is to provide a safe environment to learn about spirituality within small groups. the groups meet face to face but have a virtual meeting place on Facebook. The Meeting Place creates opportunities for spiritual growth & development through LIVE and virtual small groups, facilitated by Bishop Naomi Davis. All the groups are for the purpose of coming together face to face to spend quality time together in sisterhood relationships. Each of us has something to contribute to this world, we just need a place where it is safe to begin.
